To Fly With Eagles

Every so often you come across something that moves you, and the video “Gray Eagles” is one of those videos that, if you love aviation like I do, will certainly move you.
Take a few minutes to learn about Jim Brooks, a double ace from World War II, and about the airplane he flew. Experience the thrill of the Mustang, the North American P-51, designed before computers even existed.
This incredible airplane was instrumental in winning the Second World War, and protected those magnificent B-17s as they winged over Germany to deliver their messages.
Choose the video “Gray Eagles”, sit back and relax – you will be glad you did!
Until next time keep your wings straight and level Hersch!

Victory, speedy and complete, awaits the side which first employs air power as it should be employed. Germany, entangled in the meshes of vast land campaigns, cannot now disengage her air power for a strategically proper application. She missed victory through air power by a hair’s breadth in 1940. . . . We ourselves are now at the crossroads.
— Air Marshal Sir Arthur “Bomber” Harris, opening of letter to Winston Churchill, 17 June 1942.
