Shopping for an airplane? They say things are bigger in Texas, and now it has come to general aviation as well. If you have ever gone to a new car dealer looking for your new car, deciding on the spot and driving off the lot with your new ride, then imagine this: You are a light sport aircraft pilot and are looking for a new airplane. You go to the dealer where you can find an extensive selection of aircraft including the REMOS, Breezer II, Explorer, Cessna Skylark, Tecnam’s Sierra, Bravo and Eaglet or the Comco Ikarus! You kick the tires, spin the prop and take it for a test flight, arrange the financing and fly your new airplane home. Well, it is coming! US Aviation in Denton, TX has announced plans to offer an auto dealership style shopping experience for pilots with a large inventory of aircraft and maintenance programs. If nothing makes an auto consumer happier than to walk into a dealership and drive off in a new car, then how about making an LSA pilot happy by walking into an aircraft dealership and flying off in a new airplane. US Aviation says “People have a right to expect that. They should not have to wait for months to take delivery of their new aircraft” said Justin Shelley, head of US Aviation Sales. US Aviation also offers complete maintenance service, including servicing of the Rotax engine which powers most of these aircraft. If you are curious about the Rotax engine, or own an aircraft with a Rotax engine and want to know more about it, then check out the Rotax 912 Engine Introduction, Basic Operation and Maintenance for Pilots and Mechanics
for light sport aircraft. Until next time keep your wings straight and level Hersch! JetAviator7
