To date I have written 650 posts over the last 2 1/2 years, 5 days a week, week after week. For the most part it has been great fun, and now I think I want to change some things around. To start with I want to produce better content - more original, inviting and interesting. In addition, I am going to change the look of the blog and home page to reflect the new direction I am going in. First, my posts will be less frequent for a time, more like 2 posts per week rather than 5 posts per week. At the same time I am going to change how both the blog and the home page look. Big changes, radical changes, hopefully great changes. The change in the blog posts is they will become more personal, more interesting (I hope) as I take the time to interview real
aviators, all people who are involved with aviation in one way or another. There will be some video, some written posts and some podcasts. These will not be famous people, but rather people who spend their days plying their trade in aviation: pilots, corporate pilots, charter pilots, student pilots, instructor pilots .... you get the idea. But there are more: mechanics, sales people, fbo managers, fbo owners, people who started aviation businesses, people who closed aviation businesses, airport managers, flight school operators and more.... In other words, the real people who make aviation the great and wonderful field it is. Aviation is a wonderful career, hobby, past time and much, much more. It is the kind of job everyone in it has a passion for it. Hopefully, a few more young people will discover aviation and enter the field. We need more pilots, more aviators, more airplanes and more flying. So, stick with me - you will be glad you did! Until next time keep your wings straight and level Hersch!
