Good morning world!
Well, the bad weather continues in Michigan, which is a bummer because I want to get out and fly the ol' J3 Cub a little to keep the engine and airframe exercised, but the weather just won't seem to cooperate. Oh well, I hope perhaps we get a break on Wednesday.
In the meantime I have had a number of requests from readers on how to pass this blog and my newsletter on to fellow pilots. Well, there are a number of ways to do it, the easiest of which is to use the RSS feed for the blog and sign up for the newsletter in the sign up box.
If you are not quite sure how RSS feed works, and need a little help, just email me through my blog and I will be sure to answer your inquiry. It is not hard, there are a number of ways to do it, and I would be happy to assist anyone.
Which brings me to another point. If you have a subject you are interested in just drop me a note and let me see what I can come up with. This blog, and my newsletter, are about all things aviation, and hopefully we can all share through this dialogue.
Until next time keep your wings straight and level Hersch!
Snap back the canopy,
Pull out the oxygen tube,
Flick the harness pin
And slap out into the air,
Clear of the machine.
You knew that you must float
From the sun above the clouds
To the gloom beneath, from a world
Of rarefied splendour to one
Of cheapened dirt, close-knit
In its effort to encompass man
