A Look At World Air Traffic From A Satellite Over A 24 Hour Period

In an interesting time lapse photography video we can see air traffic around the world as millions of passengers travel around the world. In the video which follows you can see a satellite view of the world air traffic over a 24 hour period. Watch carefully as the circle of illumination moves across the planet. At first you see aircraft leaving the United States in the evening heading to Europe; later in the morning you see the aircraft leaving Europe and heading towards the United States. Imagine for a moment all of the people on those aircraft at one time - it is truly incredible: Not to be outdone, FedEx created a video of their own showing their air traffic over a 24 hour period as well: Pretty amazing stuff when you consider all of the co-ordination this takes! Until next time keep your wings straight and level Hersch! JetAviator7+ ps: Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter "All Things Aviation" here!John White
