As pilots we need to understand the difference between mandatory and recommended operational information that applies to our airplane.

Consider all of the operational information in our Pilot's Operating Handbook, the Airplane Flight Manual, old style Airplane Owner's Manual and even Maintenance Manuals. How much of it do we really need to know?

How much is mandatory and how much is just a recommendation? Do you know?

Pilots need to know their limitations including which apply to your airplane and why.
