Airman 850 ANR Airbus Headset Features
At just 4 oz., the Airman 850 is the lightest ANR product in the marketplace while reducing wind and ambient noise by up to 12 decibels (dB).
The headset also features a noise-cancelling electret microphone.
Comfort and Fit
An adjustable headband gives the wearer two inches of up and down earphone adjustment per side, while gimbal mounting improves the headset’s side-to-side comfort.
Earlier models have smaller ear cups and cushions so this model now has enlarged ear cups and cushions for maximum pilot comfort.
The Airman 850 ANR Airbus headset features a miniature, amplified, noise-cancelling electret microphone which provides superior 400Hz hum rejection.
You can rotate the flexible boom 320° degrees and you can also configure the flexible boom for either side of your head.
The replaceable windscreen will minimize popping and hissing while breathing sounds are eliminated while speaking.
The Airman 850 contains an On/Off switch to control ANR power and a Hi/Low switch for controlling receiver volume.
Cordage and Plugs
The microphone cordage is protected inside the boom while a strain relief on the cord provides maximum durability. Shielded wire throughout the headset protects against RFI and EMI.
